Samsung Galaxy S III coming to all major U.S. carriers this month

17 hrs.

Samsung's Galaxy S III ? the highly anticipated follow-up to the top-selling Galaxy S II ? will be?coming to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular this month. Exact pricing and availability dates will vary by carrier, but we do know that the device's price will be "starting from $199."

T-Mobile will be offering the Galaxy S III starting June 21. At that time, the device will be available through T-Mobile's own stores and website as well as select retailers.

Sprint will have the Galaxy S III on June 21. A 16GB version will be sold for $199.99 and a 32GB version for $249.99 (both prices require a new two-year service agreement, of course). Online pre-orders will start on June 5.

Verizon will start taking online pre-orders for the Galaxy S III on June 6 ??at 7 a.m. ET, in case you need the specific time?? but hasn't revealed when it will ship the device. We're assuming it'll be around June 21, like the others, but it's hard to say with Verizon.

We're still waiting on details from AT&T (and U.S. Cellular, if you care about that).

The Galaxy S III?is the most anticipated phone of the year, if you judge by the success Samsung has had with its predecessor (and ignore the iPhone's existence). It has a huge?4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, an 8MP camera in the back and a 1.9MP camera in the front.?The smartphone will be available with either 16 or 32GB of storage (which can be expanded thanks to a microSD slot). Beyond the impressive specs,?Samsung gave it new talents so that it can listen, watch and respond in ways not seen before in a phone, which combine for what Samsung calls "natural interaction."
